One Day Ice Discovery

Courses are offered all winter. Movement skills, belaying, top-rope systems, use and care of ropes and equipment, and hazard management are all introduced. Try winter at a different pace by seeking a special connection with a unique and refreshing landscape. Ice climbing is a truly Canadian experience. Not to be missed in your travels.

There exists a level of difficulty for all comers. Don't let your preconceived notions of climbing limit yourself from trying something new.

After your intro day of skills, arrange for a second day on a multi-pitch route and save 20% on your second day.

These courses provide an excellent foundation to become a competent climber. It is fun to have the time to really improve your ability and to have us show you the safety systems used.

Our guests always take away more from the experience than they expect; come keen to learn. We start with beginners and with experienced climbers. We take your existing skill set, enhance it and diversify what you can do. Ice anchors, Ice screws, Rappelling, Anchor Building, V-threads, Avalanche Awareness and Hazard Management will all be covered in addition to movement skills.
